First fixtures of 2010/11 season announced for 1st and 2nd XV
A friendly has been arranged for both the 1st and 2nd XVs away against Phoenix on Saturday 4 September.


First social event of the season announced
The first Old Sods' Luncheon of the new season takes place on Saturday 2 October. Slick planning has ensured that this neatly dovetails into the Start of Season Disco the same evening.

Pre-season training - HAS STARTED!
The start of the season is coming closer, so now it's time to lose those extra pounds (or stones in some cases) and get down to your fighting weight for the new season.
Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursday nights, at 7pm. Reports so far are very good, with new players joining, and old players really finding the going a bit tough....

Meanwhile the off-season squash sessions on a Saturday are in full swing. Contact Simon Wade, Steve Partridge or Mark Davey for the start times.

Sad news
It is with deepest regret that we have heard of the passing away of Dave Aroskin on 1st March 2010. Dave was a stalwart member of the Club who filled many positions before moving to Pewsey where he was instrumental in setting up Pewsey Vale RFC.

We pass on our sincerest condolences to Sandy, Alex and Jack.
